Mix flour with yeast and sugar, and mix with yogurt. -

Knead into a smooth dough, cover with a damp cloth and leave in a warm place to ferment. -

The fermented dough is twice as big as before. -

Take the dough out and place it on the chopping board, roll it into thin sheets and press it into small discs (the same is true for rolling it into small pieces). -

Stack four small dough pieces, brush oil in the middle of each dough piece to prevent sticking, cut into eight parts, do not cut in the middle. -

Twist the adjacent parts relative to each other, with the cutouts facing upwards. -

Pinch both ends and flatten the excess tip. -

Press to the bottom. The petals are ready. -

Put it in a steamer and garnish with half a red date in the middle. After the second steaming, add cold water to the pot, steam over medium-low heat for about 15 minutes, turn off the heat, and steam for another 3 minutes with the lid off. -
