Strawberry and rosewater sauce

Ingredients (5)

  • 1/2 cup caster sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 250g small strawberries
  • 200g fresh raspberries or frozen raspberries
  • 1-2 tsp rosewater

Method

  • Step 1 Place 1/2 cup caster sugar and 1 cup water in a saucepan, then stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Boil for 5 minutes.
  • Step 2 Stir in 250g small strawberries, hulled and sliced widthways, 200g fresh or frozen raspberries and 1-2 teaspoons rosewater.
  • Step 3 Cool then pour over cooled cheesecake.
